Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

Rebellious.. Reckless.. Dangerous.. Better than the original!

Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law reprise their roles as the characters created by the late Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, respectively: the world's most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his formidable colleague, Dr. Watson. This time it’s a game o shadows with a new criminal mastermind at large, Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris from "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”). Not only is he Holmes' intellectual equal, but his capacity for evil, coupled with a complete lack of conscience, may actually give him an advantage over the renowned detective. Holmes' investigation into Moriarty's plot leads him and Watson out of London and across Europe, to France, Germany and finally to Switzerland. The cunning Moriarty is always one step ahead as he spins a web of death and destruction—all part of a greater plan that, if he succeeds, will change the course of history. Directed by Guy Ritchie (Snatch, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows also stars Noomi Rapace (the Swedish film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) in her first English-speaking role.
